In addition, she’s a contributing writer at, and blogger and Social Media Expert for BookWorks. She’s written several social media books including The Author’s Guide to Goodreads and Social Media in 30 Minutes a Day. Her focus is on helping authors surmount the barriers that keep them from flourishing online, building their platform, finding new readers, and selling more books. Her clients include authors of every genre and writers’ conferences.

This is an excellent, in-depth social media guide for writers. From Facebook to Pinterest, this updated guide provides statistics and tips. This edition does not include Google+.

I recommend this book for authors who have come to rely on Facebook groups for promotional activities. This is also a great resource for publicists and bloggers who participate in blog tours. While the tips are geared towards book writers, this guide can be read and adapted to writers of all types.
