DNF - Problem Solved

Sometimes I feel guilty for not finishing a novel.

Well, now I have a rule.


I will read 10% of the book. If, after reading that portion, I do not feel "hooked", I will gently toss the book.

To review or not review...

My answer: review

The author and other readers deserve to know if I wasn't hooked. Who knows, they may think the same way I do and I could save the reader some money. Moreover, I could have even inspired the author to drop a little plot "tidbit" in the beginning.

Problem solved.
