Why I borrowed this book: Let's just say I snag every James Patterson book available.

The Handmaid's Tale (Graphic Novel) - Margaret Atwood
Why I borrowed this book: One of my goals is to read the graphic novel version of classic titles. I consider The Handmaid's Tale on of those.

But Offred remembers the years before Gilead, when she was an independent woman who had a job, a family, and a name of her own. Now, her memories and her will to survive are acts of rebellion.
