I am a nerd. I accept that and embrace it. So, when I came across this book earlier this week, I had to (yes, I HAD TO) begin reading.
Because when you’re an outcast crew like the Goonies, you just can’t pull the same dirty tricks of shunning and snubbing that other cliques have pulled on you— it would be like stabbing yourself in the heart.
THE GEEKS HAVE INHERITED THE EARTH.
Computer nerds are our titans of industry; comic-book superheroes are our Hollywood idols; the Internet is our night on the town. Clearly, geeks know something about life in the 21st century that other folks don’t—something we all can learn from. Geek Wisdom
