This week was full of work-related endeavors and massive grad school studying. I did, however, find time to read several titles. Some were ok and few are still in progress.

Here are two of my favorites from this past week!

This is an exquisitely written tale of forbidden love. Powerfully developed characters and crisp prose has this story levitating from the pages.

I was drawn in by the captivating cover. In all her literary brilliance, Ms. Kai has taken a familiar trope and created a feel-good tale of black love!

I didn't want it to end!

Highly recommended to all black romance lovers!
